First (non choir) Musical Director review
- Jekyll & Hyde (TTTC)
Congratulations to Triple Threat Theatre Company on their production of Jeckyll and Hyde. A novel treatment of this darkly Gothic tale. I enjoyed the performances of the 2 leading ladies, and the characterisation of Jeckyll/Hyde. I particularly enjoyed seeing Anthony Edwards rise to the occasion as Utterson, a different role from his usually more comic turns. Ethan McCarthy, while young for the role played a very creditable and sleazy Spider. The orchestra under the direction of Jennifer Bee were very slick. Some clever staging. A few minor technical hitches with mic and lighting cues did not detract from a very enjoyable evening. Bravo.
